    FILINVEST COMPANY: CRIMSON RESORT & SPA MACTAN

    JOB SUMMARY:

    In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of Chroma Hospitality, Inc. and Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan and under the direct supervision of the General Manager and support of Sports & Leisure Manager, the Marine Biologist is responsible for overall supervision of beach operations, monitoring, maintenance & conduct of education, talks and seminar regarding all matters in relation to Crimson Resort & Spas Marine Sanctuary. The Marine Biologist will also ensure that local & international laws are strictly enforced in relation to all matters on the sanctuary.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • To take the lead in establishing Crimson Marine Sanctuary Board
    • To collect & gather corals of opportunities to be used for coral reef enhancement
    • To lead coral nursery construction and maintenance, establishment & deployment of coral frames & nurseries
    • Monthly reporting of overall condition, status, progress & development of Marine Sanctuary
    • To submit report to S&L Manager & Crimson Management in close coordination with the local city authorities, CFARMC (City Fishery Aquatic Resource Management Council), City of Lapu-Lapu & other related government agencies as appropriate
    • To study different marine animals & plants, together with interactions & behavior
    • Adheres to established Crimson policies & Procedures on Life & Safety.
    • Maintains safety of guests & staff within the marine sanctuary.
    • Practices accident prevention measures.
    • Follows all garbage disposal procedures and standards
    • To follow safety standards in relation to use of equipment during the conduct of tasks & responsibilities.
    • Follows safe working practices; handles all equipment in the proper manner.
    • To work closely with water sports team, Crimson Management, Security & other stakeholders in the protection of Marine Life within the resorts area.
