    Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a banking and financial services company. Our respected client is seeking for a Fund Accounting Associate who will perform Fund Accounting functions for various clients across several locations with 24 x5 coverage. The process includes Transactions input, Reconciliation, Fund valuation, Cash processing, Reporting & Transfer Agency with intraday deadlines. Accurate and timely reporting of NAV to the end client is the key objective of the team. The office is in BGC, Metro Manila, Philippines with hybrid work arrangement (x3/week onsite).

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

    NAV Calculation & Review

    • Perform and review daily/periodic NAV calculations across various fund structures and financial instruments.
    • Ensure NAV delivery is accurate and completed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    • Review and validate NAV packages, including financial reports, supporting schedules, and documentation.

    Reconciliation & Issue Resolution

    • Perform cash, stock, and transfer agency (TA) reconciliations and investigate breaks or discrepancies.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of reconciliation differences.
    • Escalate material issues to management and ensure appropriate corrective action.

    Financial Reporting

    • Prepare and review fund financial reports, NAV packs, and operational reports.
    • Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and delivered to stakeholders within deadlines.
    • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.

    Process Management & Documentation

    • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
    • Ensure all procedures remain accurate, complete, and compliant with internal standards.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.

    Risk & Compliance

    • Ensure 100% compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, including ISAE 3402 controls.
    • Conduct periodic control checks and maintain proper documentation of test results.
    • Ensure operational processes minimize risk and prevent financial impact to the organization.

    Team Collaboration & Support

    • Support daily Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations and coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Assist management in preparing operational reports and monitoring team performance metrics.
    • Share knowledge and support cross-training to maintain adequate team backup coverage.

    Job Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
    • Strong knowledge of NAV calculation and fund accounting processes
    • Experience with cash, stock, and TA reconciliations
    • Understanding of financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives)
