Work Type: Full time, on-site (M-F), half day on Saturdays
Job Summary:
MCR Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices/billing statements from suppliers, service providers, government agencies, etc. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, good problem solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining professional integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and billing statements
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and monitor payment vouchers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approval of expenses.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues professionally.
- Create reports such as BIR 1604 Quarterly expanded, aging of accounts payable, summary of payroll etc.
- Assist in regular accounts analysis and reconciliations covering expenses, accounts payable, advances, and other related balance sheet accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Proven 1 to 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable processing or relevant field.
- Proficiency in Excel MS Office; experience in using Xero or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and due dates of payments and required reports.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
