- Support and process payroll and benefits administration activities in alignment with company policies and DOLE regulations.
- Coordinate with Finance/Payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, benefits, and statutory contributions.
- Assist store leadership in resolving payroll‑related queries and concerns.
- Monitor compliance with government‑mandated benefits and company‑provided benefits programs.
- Engage and consult with key stakeholders—including HR, Country/Region Managers, Operations Manager, and Cluster Managers—to align priorities with the People Plan and identify local needs, priorities, and resourcing requirements.
- Support succession planning and talent development for Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers through structured development planning.
- Contribute to Country/Region meetings as required, including the facilitation of leadership or business operations activities.
- Support Operations Manager, Cluster Managers, and Store Managers in delivering individual development plans.
- Deliver HR‑related training and workshops as the HR subject matter expert (SME), including People & Performance, values‑driven workshops, and recruitment training.
- Support and deliver capability programs such as SMIT (Store Manager in Training), MIT (Manager in Training), and HIPO (High Potentials) across clusters.
- Provide ongoing coaching and on‑the‑job follow‑ups to ensure application of learning outcomes.
- Deliver 360° reviews through one‑on‑one coaching.
- Support Store Managers in executing development plans for Assistant Store Managers.
- Coach Cluster Managers and store leadership teams to model Anko values, behaviours, and leadership skills to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Facilitate and deliver change management workshops to support transitions and business changes.
- Support teams in executing business plans, including store openings, closures, and restructures.
- Drive engagement initiatives using insights from Anko Pulse Checks.
- Support Cluster and store leadership teams in implementing regional D&I initiatives.
- Promote leadership diversity aligned with the 40:40:20 framework.
- Support store and cluster teams in delivering LGBTIQ inclusion programs.
- Support delivery of the performance review process by guiding leadership teams in effective use of review tools and principles.
- Support Project Engagement and development planning for all managers.
- Participate in talent identification discussions and succession planning activities.
- Drive strong performance management practices and outcomes across sites.
- Coach managers in interpreting DOLE legislation, company policies, and procedures related to ER matters.
- Provide advice to Operations and Cluster Managers on serious incidents and grievance activity.
- Assist stores in conducting investigations related to complaints and grievances.
- Support managers in handling serious performance issues, including disciplinary processes.
- Assist managers in managing cases that may lead to termination or discrimination complaints, ensuring legal compliance.
- Support Cluster Managers and Store Managers in end‑to‑end recruitment as needed.
- Identify stores with recruitment challenges and develop tailored strategies to attract and retain talent.
- Participate in attraction initiatives such as career expos, university partnerships, and graduate program activities.
- Support new store openings through recruitment, ER guidance, onboarding action plans, and training for new management teams.
- Conduct MIT and SMIT interviews with the Cluster Manager.
- Facilitate internal talent movement between stores and/or regions.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, employment standards, and DOLE compliance gained through formal study or professional training.
- Experience in an HR generalist role, ideally with exposure to Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR), including interaction with DOLE.
- Strong experience in local payroll and benefits administration, including coordination with Finance/Payroll teams and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Experience in recruitment and induction processes, with the ability to influence diversity and inclusive hiring outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity to act as an effective and positive change agent, continuously evaluating processes and championing innovation.
- Experience facilitating face‑to‑face learning sessions to build team capability, including delivery of HR programs to varied audiences and adapting to different learning styles.

We are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) who will provide effective People & Capability support to Operations Managers, Cluster Managers, and Store Management Teams to ensure the successful delivery of Anko's business objectives and strategy. This role serves as the HR subject matter expert for all store‑related HR matters, offering sound recommendations, guidance, and solutions to drive operational effectiveness.
The HRBP will play a key role in succession planning and leadership development across the country, strengthening team engagement, and supporting the rollout of national and regional strategies related to culture, recruitment, and employment.
