- Achieve and exceed programmatic advertising sales targets through direct client partnerships and media agency relationships.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives and revenue goals.
- Identify new business opportunities through programmatic direct, private marketplace (PMP), and open exchange deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and propose customized programmatic advertising solutions to clients.
- Serve as the primary account manager for programmatic clients and media agency partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and ad tech partners (DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges).
- Negotiate and close programmatic advertising deals to maximize revenue yield and client satisfaction.
- Provide regular campaign performance reports and data-driven insights to clients, ensuring transparency and optimization of campaigns.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of programmatic ad campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and performance KPIs.
- Collaborate with Ad Operations and Trading teams to optimize campaigns for maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Analyze campaign performance data, provide actionable insights, and recommend strategies to improve outcomes.
- Ensure proper campaign set-up, trafficking, and troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ad tech innovations, and emerging technologies such as CTV, OTT, and AI-driven targeting.
- Educate clients and partners on the benefits of programmatic advertising and data-driven marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to provide client feedback and contribute to the development of new offerings.
- Manage sales pipeline, track deals, and report revenue forecasts using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Provide weekly and monthly business reports and campaign performance insights to management.
- Ensure contract compliance and campaign delivery against agreed-upon SLAs.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital advertising sales or account management, with at least 2 years in programmatic advertising.
- Strong understanding of DSPs, SSPs, RTB, ad exchanges, and data management platforms (DMPs).
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience managing key accounts and working with media agencies and direct advertisers.
- Ability to craft data-driven proposals and strategic media plans.
- Proficiency in campaign performance analysis and reporting tools.
- Understanding of ad targeting, audience segmentation, and ad performance metrics (CPM, CTR, ROAS).
- Experience with ad tech platforms like Google Ad Manager, Xandr, or The Trade Desk is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to clients.
