Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete all Revit Specialist design roles and responsibilities in accordance with quality procedures, work flow processes and timeline specific guidelines.
• Collaborate and coordinate with all involved in design process in order to deliver quality 3D design solutions from start to finish.
• Efficiently facilitate high standards in Revit design:
• • Presentation & Coloring of plan
  • 3D Visuals & Renderings
• Management of individual Revit project files
• Have a thorough knowledge of all construction materials and methods in order to facilitate delivery of quality design.
• Deliver drawings that reflect thorough knowledge of the standards of space requirements.
• Sharing of creative ideas in the generation of design concepts.
• Fill out timesheets by the close of business at the end of working week ensuring the information is specific to both project and project stage.
• Assist project team in BIM project setup.
• Create and maintain Revit Families in response to project need.
• Help resolve BIM design issues to ensure the BIM Model/drawings adhere to all internal and client specific goals and standards.
• Adhere to company BIM standards of design, quality control, and production.
• Prepare models and drawings in accordance with specifications, engineering best practice and BIM and CAD Manuals.
• Provide BIM production support to project teams including project model setup, primary discipline project work, and deliverable setup.
• Carry out site survey using FARO laser scanner site inspection when necessary.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• BIM/Revit (Architecture) experience with Expert Revit Knowledge.
• Ability to demonstrate expertise in preparation of 3D BIM models and construction documents using Revit Architecture.
• Revit content creation: Parametric families using formulae, nesting and type catalogs.
• Experience of integration of Revit with other applications (AutoCAD, NBS, Quantity Takeoff, etc...)
• BIM and associated software skills to automate routines to support standards and improve productivity.
• BIM experience in 3D rendering and visualization, BOQ & cost estimation, analysis and simulations, and specification linking.
• Ability to manage a wide range of tasks, responsibilities, and commitments simultaneously.
• Experience of working In a multi disciplined and multi cultural team
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work and escalate issues when appropriate
• Managing expectations of internal clients and stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical terms into laymen communication
