- Review submitted business expenses for accuracy and eligibility
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory guidelines
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary
- Perform manual payment reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and complete payment records
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Support client or account onboarding processes
- Conduct identity verification and account activation
- Ensure accurate setup and documentation
- Monitor remittance inbox and review payment confirmations
- Ensure payments are properly recorded
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation
- Use approved digital tools and systems in compliance with data privacy and security policies
- Maintain baseline AI and digital literacy relevant to the role
- Participate in required trainings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation or digitization
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Entry-level experience: foundational accounting knowledge required
- Basic understanding of tax compliance and financial record-keeping
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems
- CPA pathway or accounting certifications are an advantage but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow defined processes and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Professional judgment and accountability in handling financial data
