    Brief Job Description:

    We are seeking Applications Engineers who have experience or education background in power electronics circuit evaluation and design. Your immediate responsibilities will include the construction, debugging, testing, and optimization of power conversion circuits supporting power module development along with other applications engineering support duties. You will work with the best Module Design and Applications Engineers in the industry developing and supporting state-of-the-art circuit designs. Circuits will be designed using Analog Devices proprietary power management IC products.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assemble and modify module prototype development
    • Test and evaluate High-density power module designs using a variety of test equipment
    • Provide test reports and test correlation for module designers
    • Developing design and simulation tools and circuits for new products.
    • Providing technical support to FAEs and key customers.
    • Technical writing and training

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of BS in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. MS Engineering degree is an advantage
    • Must be a team player.
    • Industry experience in Power Electronics is preferred but fresh college graduates with strong analog and digital electronics foundation are welcome to apply.
    • Knowledge of power electronics with a background in low drop-out linear regulators and different SMPS topologies such as Buck, Boost, Forward, Fly back and other derived DC-DC converter topologies is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to solving complex problems
    • Knowledge of handling and using a wide range of bench equipment is preferable (power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, multimeters, etc.).
    • Familiarity with circuit simulators and design tools is preferable (such as LTSpice, Simplis/Simetrix, MATLAB, Simulink, LTPowerCAD).
    • Familiarity with CAD tools for PCB development is an advantage (e.g., Cadence Allegro, PADS, or any other equivalent PCB design tool).
