    Job Summary

    The role is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the Center's overall marketing strategies and activities with the objectives of:

    • Achieving the Center's profitability targets
    • Exercising effective risk management to minimize operational and credit risks
    • Maintaining the quality of the loan and non-loan portfolio
    • Ensuring excellent account servicing and client satisfaction through strong relationship management

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the overall quality and profitability of the Center's loan portfolio and other business lines to meet volume and income targets.
    • Establish long-term objectives and develop business strategies and marketing plans.
    • Oversee the administration, planning, and control of the Center's daily operations.
    • Present loan and credit approval memoranda to the Executive Committee (ExCom/Senior ExCom), together with the Center Head and/or Account Officers.
    • Set volume, income, and business development targets for Account Officers.
    • Conduct regular client calls and plant visits with Account Officers to maintain strong relationships and gather firsthand information on client developments.
    • Review all credit and loan proposals to ensure proper structuring, accurate risk assessment, and clarity of presentation.
    • Ensure complete and accurate documentation for all loan and credit approvals.
    • Approve commercial and trade credit transactions within the authorized approval limit.
    • Ensure strict compliance with all bank policies and procedures, including approved deviations.
    • Represent the bank in syndicate meetings, creditors' meetings, steering committees, and similar engagements.
    • Provide technical guidance and coaching to Account Officers during discussions and negotiations with clients.
    • Prepare the Center's annual financial budget.

    Qualifications

    • Must hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of leadership experience in commercial banking.
    • Ability to speak and understand Chinese (Fukien/Hokkien).
    • Strong financial expertise, including FS analysis, forecasting, ROI evaluation, and decision-support analytics.
    • Deep regulatory and compliance knowledge of banking regulations.
    • Proven ability to analyze market trends and economic indicators.
    • Strong portfolio and credit risk management skills, including creditworthiness assessment and handling diverse clients.
    • Demonstrated experience in strategic business development, client acquisition, negotiation, and wallet share expansion.
    • Proactive and results-driven, with strong relationship-building skills.
    • Clear, persuasive communicator who can explain complex ideas effectively.
    • Data-driven leader who uses analytics to guide strategy and team performance.
    • Customer‑centric with strong stakeholder management abilities.
    • High emotional intelligence, able to empower and motivate teams.
    • Adaptable and resilient, maintaining focus on long‑term goals during change.
