Schedule dispatch and route drivers vehicles efficiently monitor vehicle locations using GPS software instruct drivers regarding routes delays emergencies and delivery instructions adjust schedules in real time due to traffic weather or operational changes track driver hours compliance and availability maintain accurate records of trips deliveries fuel usage and maintenance needs ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations respond promptly to emergencies breakdowns accidents or route changes notify Supervisors Managers of delivery status delays or operational issues maintain accurate records reports and delivery documentation ensure on time deliveries minimize operational disruption may require availability outside standard business hours including nights weekends.
