    Full Stack AI Developer

    1. ROLE OVERVIEW

    We are building a high-performance, AI-enabled full-stack engineering team in Manila. This role is for Full-Stack Developers across junior, mid-level, and senior levels who can contribute to modern web applications, backend APIs, integrations, and AI-driven features using a React + NestJS + Python ecosystem.

    Depending on experience level, responsibilities may include:

    • Building production-grade React applications
    • Designing and maintaining NestJS backend services
    • Writing Python scripts and data processing services
    • Optimizing performance and accessibility
    • Building third-party integrations and background services
    • Mentoring junior engineers (senior level)
    • Leading architecture and technical direction (senior/team lead level)

    All engineers are expected to think end-to-end — from database design and API contracts to UI polish and performance.

    2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    2.1 Frontend Development (React + TypeScript)

    • Build and maintain React 18+ applications using TypeScript
    • Implement responsive, accessible, production-quality UI components
    • Manage complex application state using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query
    • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs
    • Optimize performance (code splitting, lazy loading, Core Web Vitals)
    • Follow design systems and component architecture best practices

    2.2 Backend Development (NestJS + )

    • Design and maintain RESTful APIs using NestJS
    • Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
    • Build background jobs, queues, and event-driven services
    • Develop microservices and integration endpoints
    • Optimize API performance and database queries
    • Maintain proper API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)

    2.3 Python & AI Integration

    • Write Python scripts for automation, data processing, and ETL workflows
    • Contribute to FastAPI/Flask services where needed
    • Integrate LLM APIs and AI-driven features
    • Understand vector search concepts, embeddings, and RAG patterns (senior levels expected to design these)

    2.4 Database & Data Management

    • Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
    • Design schemas and write optimized queries
    • Implement caching strategies using Redis
    • Manage migrations and data integrity

    2.5 Performance, Accessibility & Quality

    • Write unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library, PyTest)
    • Optimize frontend performance and backend response times
    • Follow accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
    • Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
    • Maintain clean, maintainable, well-documented code

    2.6 Integrations & System Reliability

    • Build and maintain third-party API integrations
    • Implement webhooks and event-driven architectures
    • Develop background services and queue-based processing
    • Implement retry logic, monitoring, and logging best practices

    2.7 Collaboration & Communication

    • Participate in daily standups and sprint ceremonies
    • Collaborate with US-based engineering leadership
    • Communicate blockers clearly and proactively
    • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

    Senior-level developers may additionally:

    • Lead architecture design and technical decisions
    • Serve as code review gatekeepers
    • Mentor junior engineers
    • Drive technical standards and best practices

    LLM API integration, vector search concepts, AI-assisted development tools

    Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright, PyTest
