About the Role

As a Senior Specialist IT Networks, you will be the technical lead for network security projects. Your focus will be on designing, implementing and supporting solutions for the global network and border security infrastructure. You'll provide expertise in firewalls, remote access, proxy services, VPN solutions and routing/switching while driving project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, remote access solutions (e.g., Zscaler), proxy services and VPNs.
Lead projects involving complex planning, detailed design development, proposal creation and end‑to‑end delivery across global border networks.
Provide technical guidance on routing, switching, MPLS/VPN, WLAN, intrusion prevention, cloud security, firewalls, monitoring tools, network topologies, load balancing and WAN optimization.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure security architectures align with global standards.
Document network designs, policies and procedures; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Must‑Have Qualifications

At least eight years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and operations with a focus on firewall technologies, remote access solutions (Zscaler or similar), proxy services, web gateways and VPN solutions.
Eight or more years designing enterprise‑scale routing and switching environments (MPLS/VPN, WLAN, intrusion prevention, cloud security, firewalls, monitoring tools, network topologies, load balancing and WAN acceleration/QoS).
Network experience in multinational enterprises with at least 5,000 users.
Active certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, CCSE or CCIE.
Strong knowledge of data networking fundamentals (switching, routing, directory services, TCP/IP) and mastery of network security concepts.
Ability to lead complex technical projects and to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Willingness to work US Central time (night shift in Manila) and to be based in Manila.

Good‑to‑Have

Experience working in regulated industries.
Multilingual skills.
Familiarity with cloud‑based security and zero‑trust architectures.
Knowledge of automation and scripting for network provisioning.
