    The Remote Accountant (TRA) is an innovative BPO in the Philippines that specialises in connecting great people with great Australian Businesses.

    We have an Australian-based client in Adelaide who is looking to grow its current offshore team. The client is an integrated business services and personal wealth advisory firm providing innovative solutions to their clients. They provide great career development and training opportunities to their team members.

    They are looking for a highly skilled senior bookkeeper who has excellent communication skills and is looking for a long-term career in bookkeeping.

    This role is 100% remote (work-from-home).

    Minimum Experience:

    • You must have 3-4 years minimum proven work experience as a bookkeeper with an Australian accounting firm or bookkeeping firm, having handled multiple clients.

    The role includes:

    • Bank reconciliations
    • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
    • Preparation of Business Activity Statements / Installment Activity Statements
    • Payroll processing STP and PAYG & Superannuation reconciliation
    • Month-end functions including reporting and resolving account discrepancies

    Other Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline
    • Proficiency in Xero/XPM, MYOB, Quickbooks, Dext and other accounting software programs
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word and Outlook) is a must
    • Experience managing multiple clients
    • Must be highly organised and detail-oriented
    • Must be a team player

    System Requirements:

    • Stable internet connection (at least 80 MBPS)

    Work Setup and Schedule:

    • Full-time
    • Day Shift (8 Hours)
    • Fixed Saturday and Sunday off
    • Remote/Work-from-home
    • A separate room to undertake work is required
    • Must not be disturbed by electronic devices during work hours
