    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Assist the AP Accountant/Specialist in the preparation of administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and keeping a record of it all for tax purposes

    · Assist the AP Accountant in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

    · Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.

    · Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.

    · Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry

    · Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed

    · Prepare journal entries and ensure entries are recorded timely and accurately.

    · Prepare account analysis and related supporting schedules on a needed basis

    · Prepare information for tax filing or other statutory reporting to government agencies

    · Assist in providing documents related to tax audits (internal and external).

    · Update accounts receivable and issue invoices

    · Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations

    · Process and prepare payment voucher with supporting documents.

    · Prepare Bank reconciliation

    · Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned

    · Assist with other accounting projects

    · Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

    REQUIREMENTS:

    · Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent, with good scholastic records;

    · With at least 1 -2 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable

    · Preferably but not required with work experience in various areas of financial accounting and participation in external / internal audit of the company; or with good background of strong adherence to internal controls and to accounting standards;

    · Experience with accounting software and online platforms

    · With proactive and diligent work attitude, can work under pressure and with minimum supervision, systematic, organized and with above average analytical and problem solving abilities;

    · With good communication and interpersonal skills;

    · Must be of good moral character and with good work ethics

    · Knowledge in the use of Quickbooks systems & applications is an advantage;

    · Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft excel and Power point;
