- Meet and maintain monthly sales conversion targets in accordance with Crown's KPIs and Business Plan
- Attend, report to and participate in sales meetings, report on competitor trends and help develop local sales strategies that meet the challenges of the market
- Ensure that administrative systems are up to date and accurate at all times and data input protocols are observed and adhered to
- Maintain accurate invoices, documents and customers files
• After the call or ocular inspection, prepare quotation and ensure price competitiveness. - Prepare and present formal quotations to clients, using indicative selling techniques and structured approaches to enable successful negotiation with the customer

- Call on clients to meet the pre-arranged appointment times
- Upon receipt of a confirmed survey appointment, ensure the service requirements are captured and documented
- Complete a detailed inventory of effects or project charter which allows the accurate calculation of the move or project.
- Present the company's services by way of brochures, discussion, demonstrations and the use of the presenter in the most positive light, selling the benefits of our service, our company, and the Crown network worldwide.
- Utilise value based selling skills and methodologies that clearly differentiate Crown from our competitors and generate best value for Crown at every possible juncture.
• Ensure each day is well planned geographically to maximise all opportunity whilst satisfying the demands of our customers. - Regular follow-up to ensure the booking of sales personnel through negotiation and use of value add and upselling techniques.
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution .
- Follow up on assigned tasks, deadlines, and pending items.
- Assist in vendor coordination, procurement requests, and materials planning- if neccesary.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and executive summaries.
- Maintain updated project documentation and ensure governance compliance.
- Support project handover, closing documents, and performance evaluation.
- Help ensure seamless transition of closed deals to the operations team.
- Support process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and cost savings.
- Assist in developing SOPs, templates, and forms for BD and PM processes.

- 3 years sales or marketing experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders
• Well-developed administration and organisation skills with strong attention to detail. - Knowledge of selling psychology

Position Statement
The Business Development Officer is responsible for the servicing and conversion of direct sales opportunities generated by Crown's marketing efforts or through business development activities.
The Business Development Officer needs to follow the prescribed Crown sales methodologies and protocols in accordance with the strategies, priorities, and sales targets of the Crown Group.
This role also works closely with other internal stakeholders and ensures all sales opportunities are leveraged to maximum effect in a team selling environment.
Maintaining a high performance customer driven culture is also crucial to the success of this position.
