    Join Our Team as a Mitek Draftsman

    We are currently seeking a skilled Draftsman who is proficient in using Mitek software and possesses a deep understanding of architectural drafting principles.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed floorplans and roofplans, as well as interpreting and implementing plans effectively.

    Additionally, familiarity with timber usage in designs is highly desirable.

    Key Responsibilities: Create precise and detailed floorplans using Mitek software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
    Develop comprehensive roof plans that integrate seamlessly with floor plans, considering structural integrity and design aesthetics.
    Interpret architectural plans and specifications to accurately translate them into detailed drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

    Utilize timber effectively in drafting designs, considering its structural properties and aesthetic appeal while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

    Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to incorporate feedback and ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.

    Conduct thorough reviews of drafted plans to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality.

    Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in drafting technology, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.

    Qualifications: Proficiency in Mitek software, with demonstrated experience in drafting floorplans and roofplans.
    Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles, with the ability to interpret and implement plans effectively.
    Familiarity with timber usage in designs, including knowledge of structural considerations and industry standards.
    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
    Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
    Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
