    Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of well-trusted manufacturing industry. Our respected client is seeking 2-3 years of working experience in accounting specializing in accounts payables and account receivables for the_ Accountant _position. The job is based in Cebu City, Philippines.

    Job Summary:
    • The Accountant will liaise with government agencies such as; BIR for monthly, quarterly, and annual
    • filings, and annual ITR, Assist with BIR on tax audits, Liaise with the Bureau of Customs on importissues and SEC on annual filings and other documents Secure Business & Import permit with local government.

    Key job responsibilities include:CLOSING / BOOKKEEPING / TREASURY:
    • In charge of bookkeeping and lettering
    • Check PO vs invoices
    • In charge of invoicing and customer recovery
    • In charge of suppliers' payment (voucher request...)
    • Prepare payment on the online banking system and check the movement on the statement
    • Reconciliation on client collection
    • In charge of checking the Supplier's Settlement of Accounts (SOA) and reconciliation, and in charge of the reconciliation and analysis of Ship owners (SO) accounts with End Client (EC) accounts
    • In charge of intercompany rebilling if necessary
    • In charge of the analytical booking

    FINANCIAL REPORTING:
    • Assist line management with Audit queries

    OTHER MATTERS:
    • Assist with other accounting tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the department
    • Responsible for filing and archiving accounting documents
    • Respect all procedures and internal rules

    Job Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's/College Degree in any field
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a related field
    • Knowledge and experience with accounting statements- general ledgers, account reconciliations, AR reports, and post receipts.
    • Has exposure to customs, costing, goods receipts & invoicing (additional advantage)
    • At least two years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the shipping or energy sector.
    • Good in Excel & other MS Office applications
