Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related Engineering course
Technical Competencies and Skills:
- Measurement: Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Familiar with advanced inspection equipment including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and optical comparators.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect minor deviations and nonconformities that may lead to potential failures during assembly or product use.
- Negotiation & Firmness: Demonstrates professionalism, firmness, and effective negotiation skills when addressing rejected materials or nonconforming batches while maintaining good supplier relationships.
- Technical Documentation: Skilled in preparing clear and concise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), inspection reports, and detailed inspection procedures.
- Problem-Solving and Analysis: Capable of determining whether defects are isolated incidents or systemic issues, and recommending appropriate corrective actions, including process, supplier, or design improvements.
