    About the role

    We are seeking a Master Data Architect to design and lead the end-to-end framework for healthcare site identity and master data management (MDM) across multiple data sources. This is a highly strategic role focused on architecting the process and data model - engineering teams will execute the build, but this person defines the blueprint.

    This individual will create the foundational data architecture, rules, and governance framework required to unify disparate site data into a trusted, standardized, and analytics-ready master dataset used for operational planning, site selection, and performance modeling.

    This role is ideal for someone who has managed data products in a healthcare or real-world data (RWD) organization and has hands-on experience building master data systems for healthcare site or provider data.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Architecture & Process Design

    • Serve as the architect of the site data MDM process - define how data is ingested, normalized, matched, governed, and maintained
    • Design the end-to-end MDM framework while engineering teams build the technical components
    • Establish scalable data models and integration architecture across healthcare, RWD, and external data sources

    Master Data Management (MDM) Strategy

    • Lead the creation of master data management for healthcare site data from multiple structured and unstructured sources
    • Define standards for: Golden record creation, Data lineage, Ongoing data stewardship
    • Develop processes for maintaining persistent site identities across platforms and datasets

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    Master Data Management & Architecture Expertise

    • Proven experience designing and implementing Master Data Management (MDM) frameworks, including entity resolution and golden record creation
    • Strong understanding of site identity management, deduplication, and persistent entity modeling across multiple systems
    • Experience defining data standards for master datasets, including governance, stewardship, and lifecycle maintenance

    Data Architecture & Integration

    • Hands-on experience architecting scalable data models and integration patterns across structured and unstructured sources
    • Deep knowledge of data ingestion, normalization, matching, and data quality processes
    • Familiarity with modern cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and integration architecture

    Governance, Quality, and Compliance

    • Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data lineage, stewardship workflows, and auditability
    • Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare or other compliance-heavy industries is strongly preferred

    Domain & Industry Experience

    • Prior experience within a healthcare organization or real-world data (RWD) provider
    • Understanding of healthcare site data, provider networks, and performance datasets is a plus

    Collaboration & Leadership

    • Ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and define enterprise-wide MDM strategy while engineering teams execute implementation
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical architecture and governance frameworks
