Job Summary
Burlington Industries Philippines Inc. is looking for a reliable Accounting Assistant – Accounts Payable to manage supplier payments and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and experience in handling vendor accounts within a manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process supplier invoices and payment requests
- Verify purchase orders, delivery receipts, and billing statements
- Prepare check vouchers and payment schedules
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor due dates and ensure timely payments to suppliers
- Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems
- Assist in expense analysis and month-end closing activities
- Coordinate with the Purchasing and Warehouse departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in Accounts Payable is an advantage
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply with knowledge of AP procedures
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, data analysis functions)
- Experience using accounting software/ERP is a plus
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
