We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Team Leader/Transport Planner to lead a critical team for the Philippines Transportation System Master Plan (PTSMP) project.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the transport planning team.
• Oversee all project activities related to transport planning, ensuring deliverables meet the highest quality standards and timelines.
• Manage and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of technical specialists.
• Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Liaise effectively with stakeholders, including government agencies, international partners, and the public.

Qualifications:

• Education: University degree in Transport Studies, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline (Master's degree in Transport Planning highly preferred).
• Experience: At least 20 years of demonstrably strong experience in the transport sector.
• Minimum 10 years of international experience, including work on large infrastructure projects/programs and providing technical assistance to transport agencies.
• Proven track record of leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in formulating, reviewing, evaluating, and managing national or regional transport plans, policies, and strategies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in capacity building for the transport sector, including training needs analysis, designing strategies, and project evaluation.
• A minimum of 2 successfully completed similar assignments in the past 10 years.
• At least 5 years of experience working in developing countries, with Southeast Asian experience being a significant advantage.
• Skills: Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and a working knowledge of Filipino being a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
