    The Network and Unified Communications Department in Manila seeks a Manager/Senior Manager to lead its offshore UC Network Infrastructure team. This team is a trusted engineering and support group specializing in Unified Communications, Contact Center technologies, and IP Telephony. They set the foundation for network and UC technologies and services across the organization and deliver robust, secure, and highly available solutions. The Manager will ensure strategic operations and delivery of UC services for enterprise needs and business projects, reporting directly to the Director of Network.

    Role Purpose:

    Lead and manage a high-performing team responsible for the design, deployment, and operational reliability of enterprise-wide Unified Communications (UC) solutions. This role ensures seamless voice and collaboration services across Retail, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Corporate offices, and Contact Centers, enabling critical business communication. The position requires strong technical leadership, strategic planning, and full ownership of UC platforms that support millions of customers and internal interactions daily.

    About Our UC Platform & Services:

    Our UC ecosystem includes enterprise telephony systems, SIP trunking, call routing, IVR platforms, conferencing solutions, voicemail, paging systems, and integration with workforce management tools. These services are mission-critical for store operations, customer engagement, and internal collaboration across thousands of locations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership & Strategy

    • Manage UC Reliability Engineers, Implementation Specialists, and Infrastructure Engineers.
    • Define priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of operational and project objectives.
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement for system resilience and scalability.

    Operational Excellence

    • Own incident management and break-fix resolution for enterprise voice systems.
    • Ensure compliance with SLAs, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor system health and proactively mitigate risks and capacity constraints.

    Project & Implementation Management

    • Oversee planning and execution of UC deployments for new stores, corporate sites, and business expansions.
    • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between UC teams and other technology domains.
    • Ensure smooth transition from implementation to operations with robust documentation and training.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Serve as the primary liaison for business units on UC services and performance.
    • Provide executive-level reporting on operational health, project milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.

    Governance & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and implementation processes.
    • Track and report KPIs for uptime, incident resolution, and project delivery timelines.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    Technical Expertise:

    • Deep knowledge of enterprise telephony platforms, SIP, IVR, call routing, and UC integrations.
    • Familiarity with conferencing, voicemail, paging, and workforce management tools.

    Leadership & Management:

    • Proven experience managing technical teams in dynamic environments.
    • Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and enforce accountability.

    Project Management:

    • Skilled in planning and executing large-scale UC implementations.
    • Experience with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

    Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver under pressure.
