Graduate of BS Nursing
Open to fresh graduates who already possess their license (RN).
Willing to be assigned to shifting schedules.
Knowledgeable in Aerospace Medicine.
Should have a license or certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferably from American Heart Association (AHA).

The Company Nurse shall undertake aviation medical responsibilities and must ensure efficient and effective decision making. He or she must be able to provide safe, immediate, and effective medical services to all PAL express employees and passengers.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Services

Provides acute and emergency care to the full extent provided by law and responds appropriately to medical emergencies as well as providing occupational health support to employees and passengers.
Assists Flight Surgeon in assessing and evaluating health of employees and passengers.
Informs employees about company policies on personal health and healthcare benefits.

Management of Medical Services

Under the overall management of the Flight Surgeon, develops, implements, and supervises the medical clinic to handle all processing of MEDIFs and Special handling passengers.
Handles all Pilot and Cabin Crew pre-employment medical queries.
Performs other duties and responsibilities in other HR functional areas as required by the business.

Aviation Medical Support

Replenishes First Aid Kit, Emergency Medical Kit and Universal Precaution Kits which are NO GO ITEMS in the aircraft.
Monitors and facilitates requisition and distribution of medical supplies.

Occupational Safety and Health

Monitors, records, and reports sick leaves filed by employees. Develop and maintain a record and reporting system that meets legal requirements, ensures continuity of care and confidentiality.
Evaluate occupational health standards and problems for proper management. Recommend, plan, and coordinate medical services programs with pertinent agencies or departments.
