Job summary
The Policy Service Officer II provides customer service via phone calls and answers customer, underwriter and/or agency's questions regarding product, process, policy. The officer may handle multiple processes and is responsible for supporting business areas by operating the switchboard and connecting callers to the appropriate person.The officer will ensure policies are followed and refer/escalate where appropriate. They must comply with provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures.
The officer will also be responsible for 100% Regulatory Compliance to the laws set by Region's Government Body such as State Insurance Regulated Authority (SIRA) and Road and Maritime Service (RMS). This includes 100% Compliance to mandatory general insurance requirements such as reading out Duty of Disclosure.
In addition, the officer must establish a good working relationship with stakeholders while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
