About the role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Distribution Officer to join our team at AALIYAH DELICATESSEN AND COLD STORAGE INC.' in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient distribution and logistics operations for our retail stores, ensuring our products reach customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and manage the distribution of products from our central warehouses to our network of retail stores
- Optimise transportation routes and delivery schedules to minimise costs and maximise efficiency
- Oversee the inventory management and stock control processes to maintain adequate supplies at each retail location
- Liaise with store managers to understand their product needs and address any distribution-related issues promptly
- Analyse distribution data and identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain
- Implement and monitor distribution KPIs to ensure performance targets are met
- Collaborate with the broader operations team to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail distribution or logistics management role
- Strong understanding of inventory management, transportation planning, and supply chain optimisation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve distribution challenges
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology to track and manage distribution operations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with store managers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Relevant bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
