Iyel Nico Rafanan

I am a Certified Public Accountant with 10 years experience in private field and 8 years experience in academe. I am currently a full-time lecturer in Quezon City University. I handled different subjects such as Basic Accounting, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Conceptual Framework and Accounting Standards, Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing and Income Taxation. My teaching philosophy is that students must first understand the fundamental ideas underlying each topic. The student will then respond to review questions so I can assess whether they actually learned what I had discussed. I typically use comprehensive illustrations or exercises with a simple and review teaching style.
