Jhonalee De Leon

My career started as a Guidance Counselor for five years and shifted to an industrial setting, more on the food manufacturing industry as an HR Assistant; later on, I was promoted to HR Supervisor and had been an HR Head for another food company with an overall HR role experience for seven (7) years and six (6) months.  I can deliver results effectively because I am mature and responsible with the tasks assigned.  I aim to stay in a stable company where I can give value and service for as long as needed.   

My career started in August 2000 as a Guidance Counselor at Hillsdale College in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, up to March 2003.  I took an opportunity in the corporate world as a Collection Officer at Citibank N.A. Eastwood, Libis for five months contract and was recalled after a month for an In-House Recovery Officer for another five months.  By November 2004, I returned to the school setting as Psychometrician/Asst. Guidance Counselor, but I was recalled at Hillsdale College and was having difficulty travelling/commuting at that time. After three years, I am ready to gain more knowledge and expand my horizon to an industrial setting which landed me in a food manufacturing company at Burger Machine Inc.  A few years later, I got an opportunity to apply at KSK Food Corp., which is closer to home since traffic is a stressful part of commuting in our daily life.  I stayed there for five years, from HR Assistant and was promoted to HR Supervisor.  After some time, I married and settled in Novaliches, QC.  Then I came across an opportunity that gave me a chance to hone my skills in a higher position as an HR Assistant Manager. But my husband convinced me to build a food park set-up. So we got a slot and tried to venture into our own business, but due to uncontrollable circumstances, we folded back because we felt we were not gaining profit. So after reconciling the tools and materials of our business, I tried to get back of being employed as an HR Head of Allis Cassava Cakes and Coffee for a year and two until I got pregnant and the pandemic happened. I was recalled in Allis Cassava Cake as an project - based HR Assistant for a month only.  As a mother, I still want to be with my kids but at the same time still want to continue my career and earn while at home.  And my last work as an e-Commerce Catalog Specialist was a work-from-home set-up and I am earning while taking care of my family.

As an AB Psychology graduate, I could say that I was lucky to land a job where I applied to the field of study I choose.
