Duties and Responsibilities as Station Loader

 • Safety removes the baggage form RT 8.

 • Load and unloading the baggage from departure to arrival station. 

• Retrieve the baggage from different flight number. • Segregate the baggage from retriever. • Checking the baggage from slide and reject Station to X-ray monitor. 

• Check and X-ray the baggage and give to flight handler from transfer flight • Check, segregate and scan the baggage then put it to trolley or AKH.

 • Check the flight and time of the first to last baggage. • Keep the ramp clear for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) • Before approaches the aircraft make sure that the aircraft has stopped, the nose wheels and main landing gears are chocked, the anti-collision beacon light is turned off and the marshal has given the “safe to approach” signal. • Stall the safety Cones to create protective zones around engines and wing tips, to prevent ground damage as well as to keep personnel/passengers from areas of the aircraft. 

• The basic Aircraft Loading and unloading are the hold stowage system, first in – Last out, by the type and by the destination. • In the event of last minute offloading of passengers, ensure that their checked baggage must also be offloaded to comply with positive Passenger Baggage Match (PPBM)
