Kristen Cayanan

As a licensed Civil Engineer and recent graduate, I am eager to apply my academic background, hands-on experience, and technical training in the field. During my internship at the National Irrigation Administration (NIA), I was exposed to both field and office work, contributing to the inspection, monitoring, and documentation of various infrastructure projects. While NIA focuses on irrigation, I gained valuable insights into the structural components of dams, canals, retaining walls, and support facilities, enhancing my understanding of stability, safety, and design in real-world settings.

To build on this experience, I proactively attended technical trainings and seminars covering structural design and analysis, AutoCAD, BIM training, quantity surveying, and project cost estimation. These experiences have sharpened my technical and problem-solving skills, preparing me to take on engineering responsibilities with confidence.

I am highly motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning. As a fresh board passer, I’m ready to contribute to meaningful projects and grow professionally in the structural and construction engineering field.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, major in Structural Engineering from Tarlac State University, where I gained strong skills in structural analysis, design, and the use of Engineering software. My studies prepared me to handle real-world engineering challenges with a focus on safety, efficiency, and code compliance.
