Leah Laraga

Hello, I am Leah Laraga, a licensed Math teacher here in the Philippines. A passionate educator who prioritized the well being , learnings and safety of my learners. I am teaching Math for more almost 9 years in private school and 5 years in public school. Now I am pursuing my Diploma in Special Education. I am hardworking and flexible. I love to enhance my professional experiences to be more effective in handling students with diverse background.

I teach grades 7,8,9 and 10 mathematics. My 13 years of teaching experience in diverse settings both in private and public school has given me a deep understanding of different learning styles and needs. I collaborate with my colleagues to develop innovative teaching. Inside the classroom, I always make sure that every student feel valued and respected. I employ differentiated instruction and activities to cater the needs of my learners. I always make sure to foster a caring and inclusive environment and the needs, interest and well being of my students are prioritized above all.

A child's education should be of great importance because it will help shape his/her future. As a facilitator of learning, I should foster to my learners their love of learning, help them develop critical thing skills, and deep understanding of the world. I must connect my lessons to real world scenario for them to learn how to apply their learning in a real life situation. I helped them promoted to next grade level and help them unlock their full  potential.
