Ma. Cristina Torio

I am a former Junior High School teacher who is willing to work abroad. Willing to be trained in any field of work. I am able to work alone and with a team. As a mentor I always make sure to listen and analyze suggestions and possible solutions to problesm that will conform or atleast be in the comfort of the whole team. Determined to work in any assigned place in any country if possible with my family. 

I have been a teacher in College, High School and Elementary in Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health for 19 years since 1998, the year I graduated in college. There was a gap on my teaching carreer in the year 2007 to 2013 where I worked as Customer service representative and Technical support specialist in Philippine call centers. The services I provided through phone caters callers from different part of the world specially in the US and the UK. The line of work that I have taken part as a team member, mentor and assistant leader in both fields (teaching and custoner service), made me a better person in solo and team works. Aside from being a teacher and a call center agent, I have taken part on being a coach and referee in volleyball, badminton and dancesports where I was tested in line of leadership, creativity and discipline. The last experience that I had in teaching was handling and teaching students under special class in arts specifically in dance. I cater in cultivating creativity, providing ideas and sharing best practices with my students and collegues in teaching. 

I studied and graduated Bachelors in Secondary Education major in Physical Eduction. As a student in college, we were trained in learning and handling not only the science of sports but also dance. Because the university I studied at is run by the Philippine government, the love for Philippine culture and art as well as the appreciation and respect for the culture of other countries was imprinted in our minds. There were times when our equipment to play sports was lacking or not enough but it also taught us to be resourceful to teach and learn sports and arts with the things we only had. After I finished my Bachelors degree I enrolled and studied again for my masters degree at my Alma Mater. I have completed 15 units but have stopped studying and again hope to resume it soon.
