Mga serbisyong inaalok
I have been a private licensed teacher for 22 years now. At the first year of my teaching career, I officially taught in Mulberry Hills Preparatory School, an eclectic non-traditional and play based preschool here in Las Pinas City, Metro Manila Philippines for a year. However I saw the need of putting up my own academic center (formerly Beyond Basics and now called Diligence Learning Center-DLC) on 2003 focusing mainly on the unique individual needs of growing students from 3 to 12 years of age. I have handled preschoolers and graders since then. At first I am the sole teacher as well as the proprietress of DLC. Eventually I hired teachers and assistant to help me in teaching. I have handled different students from time to time, some have speech and academic problems, others have attention deficit disorders. That is why my mission was not just to academically assist my students but to help them hone their diligence, attitude, behavior and mostly discipline. When the worldwide pandemic on Coronavirus happened, I gave up my assistants because everything went online. There were only a few number of students who availed of the online mode of teaching. More than that the time was very limited to assist each student online. So I was left all alone to teach and survive. Now is the time when I wanted to pursue teaching on another venue and environment. That is why I am more than persistent to apply internationally. I want a cross cultural way of teaching and explore more the challenges of early childhood education.
Karanasan
I have been teaching for 22 years now. My first year of formal teaching was with a preparatory school in las Pinas City, NCR Philippines, Mulberry Hills Preparatory School, a play-based eclectic oriented preschool. After that I established and founded my own academic tutorial center and until now had been teaching and operating here in Las Pinas for 21 years. I have been directly teaching students (one-on-one mode) ages 4 years to 12 years old. I cater to each student's unique and individual needs, academically, emotionally and behaviorally. Before the pandemic I used to work hand in hand with teacher assistants. However due to financial constraints and limited number of enrollees I opted to teach on my own. Over the years, I have handled and addressed different problems of students from speech and reading difficulties, academic and social problems and discipline issues. Patience, dedication and commitment plus the passion to teach are primarily help me achieve my teaching goals over the years.
Edukasyon
I graduated from the University of the Philippines, Diliman Quezon City with a degree on Communication Arts major in Journalism way back 1992. Then I had my Masters Degree in Business Administration on 1997 since I was employed as a bank employee then. However after six years in the bank I found myself more interested into early childhood education so enrolled myself into Teacher's Certificate Program with specialization on Early Childhood at De La Salle University and graduated on December 2000. I passed the Licensure Exams for Teachers a year after.
