REMOTE | PART-TIME

We are looking for a smart, experienced and awesome Web Developer

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Utilize your experience with WordPress to manage, update, and enhance our websites, ensuring they are user-friendly and up-to-date.

Seamlessly integrate Shopify into our web platforms, optimizing e-commerce functionalities and improving the online shopping experience for our customers.

Oversee and manage website plugins, ensuring they are current, functional, and secure. This includes selecting, installing, and updating plugins as needed.

Regularly perform and manage backups of all our web platforms to ensure data integrity and quick recovery in case of any data loss or website downtime.

Conduct routine maintenance of our websites to ensure they operate efficiently, with minimal downtime and optimal loading speeds.

Oversee and manage the order fulfillment process through Amazon, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation from order receipt to delivery.

Develop and implement SOPs for web operations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across the team if/when needed.

Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in web technology, suggesting and implementing improvements to keep our web presence ahead of the curve.

Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and integrated online presence.

Regularly review and test websites to ensure they meet high-quality standards, are user-friendly, and provide an excellent user experience.

YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

Strong skills in web development, particularly with WordPress and Shopify, including knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Excellent at identifying issues and implementing effective, creative solutions.

Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments, contributing positively to team dynamics.

Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of web development and maintenance.

A creative mindset that enjoys exploring new technologies and strategies to enhance web performance and user experience.

Strong planning and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing tech environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of creating clear SOPs and effectively collaborating with team members.

Proven track record in web development, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects involving WordPress and Shopify.

Committed to maintaining high web standards and continuously improving the online presence of the company.
