    POSITION SUMMARY

    Plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the entire Hotel Transportation Department, driving the team to its full potential to ensure seamless and efficient guest servicing that is up to hotel standards.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Represent the entire Hotel Transportation Department in meetings and effectively communicate with different departments for issues and concerns related to Hotel Transportation.
    • Conducts regular meetings with the Transportation leadership team to assess daily operations and solves any issues that arise.
    • Provides strategic direction to determine the best rostering arrangement and optimizing the staffing levels that meet the operational demands.
    • Constitutes specific ways of working to ensure the team's adherence to work deadlines and compliance with established policies and procedures.
    • Establishes strategic and long-term solutions to daily challenges.
    • Continuously identifies opportunities for the department to grow in all aspects including but not limited to enhancing departmental tools and equipment, updating of processes and procedures.
    • Conducts regular inspections, ensuring that procedures for Fleet maintenance are being followed, through the proper enforcement of Transportation Supervisors.
    • Orchestrates the synergy between Fleet Maintenance, Valet Parking Service, Shuttle Service Management, and other relevant departments to ensure consistent and seamless service delivery to all types of guests and clients.
    • Works with the Transportation Supervisors in reviewing vehicle dashboard camera footage and provide directions and solutions for pressing issues and concerns.
    • Regularly conducts rounds and inspections on areas and perimeters under the Transportation department, making sure that every team member is well-placed and well-equipped to provide service that's up to hotel standards.
    • Reviews and analyzes financial and operational forecasts and reports needed by the VP of Resort Services.
    • Conducts a monthly meeting with the contracting agency for Valet Services to ensure that the service standards are aligned with the company's objectives.
    • Champions the continuous growth and development of team members under its purview by developing a pathway for career advancement and partnering with different departments for training.
    • Serves as a role model of good conduct, grooming, hygiene, uniform, and overall appearance for all Hotel Transportation team members.
    • Formulates and regularly updates game plans for large events, emergencies, and natural disasters.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supervisory or managerial level within the Hotel Transportation industry.
    • Experience in handling a large team, and high volume of limousine transactions.
