    Role: Marketing Coordinator - Events Specialist

    Job Overview:

    MRM has an exciting opportunity to work on one of our top global accounts as an Events Specialist. This role sits within the Marketing Coordinator Program and primarily focuses on supporting digital events, while also assisting with in-person events as needed. The Events Specialist is responsible for operationalizing event content and measuring post-event success. This role provides event management (including scheduling, setup, demand generation, and execution) and logistical support for events aligned with the Global Event Strategy.

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    The Event Specialist ensures the seamless delivery of event campaigns by being aware of and keeping track of the complete event lifecycle. The Marketing Coordinator should have end-to-end ownership of the event while working with various stakeholders and teams. The Marketing Coordinator aligns with the marketer's objectives and develops a project plan that orchestrates execution.

    • Event Consultation: Supports a wide array of digital events and event platforms. Trains marketers on these platforms and prepares the event go-lives through dry-runs and technical checks. Explores new ways to improve digital event delivery and customer experience.
    • Pre-Event: Plans event execution by collating content assets and reviews with Event owner. Supports digital video production and ensures that all logistics surrounding the event are successful.
    • Event Execution: In coordination with the event owner, this role runs the events behind the scenes via the appropriate platforms.
    • Post-Event: Confirms post event emails are delivered and reports on event issues, analyzes and prepares event insights to measure the effectiveness of the event.

    Qualifications

    Required Competencies/Skills:

    • Proven skills in written and verbal communications
    • Proficiency in project management strategies and tools
    • Demonstrated understanding of event marketing and the associated tools and technologies associated with these events.
    • Ability to articulate and evangelize services with stakeholders
    • Ability to manage relationships with different stakeholders, work collaboratively and find resolutions for conflicts and issues

    Required Experience:

    • University degree
    • Has 3-5 years or more of marketing communications (agency or client side) with a focus on event marketing and virtual events.
