    About the role:
    • Process payroll under Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, organizational policies, and relevant legislation to payroll deadlines and with accuracy in payments
    • Understand and interpret relevant industrial agreements including Awards and EBAs
    • Drive the continual improvement of the payroll function delivery, overseeing and collaborating on payroll projects such as changes to systems, processes, or tools, integration
    • Ensure all EOM functions are completed by required dates such as long service, redundancy, super, child support, state payroll tax, etc.
    • Deliver cyclic payroll events and collaborate to deliver HR events such as end-of-year group certificates, remuneration reviews, and incentives
    • Provide advice and support to management and employees ensuring the advice is current, sound, and up-to-date
    • Maintenance and administration of single-touch payroll information uploads onto the ATO website
    • Investigate and resolve payroll queries
    • Provide payroll reports promptly and as requested to meet organization and statutory requirements
    • Prepare accurate payroll tax returns and group tax reconciliations
    • Maintain employee information and ensure compliance, record keeping, and audit trails were accurate for data such as around leave entitlements, variations or deductions, etc
    • Payroll calculations such as redundancies and terminations
    • Processing of novated leases relating to payroll
    • Support the provision of effective coaching for Managers around payroll processes and requirements
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure strict confidentiality at all times
    Skills and Qualification:
    • Payroll experience is essential ( Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, organizational policies, and relevant legislation to payroll deadlines)
    • Attention to detail
    • Experience in AU Accounting
