Job Summary
The Product Management Officer reports to the Assistant Vice President and Head of Marketing Department. This role is responsible for overseeing the management of assigned products and services within Makati Life Medical Center. The position covers market segmentation, targeting, positioning, product life cycle management, pricing, promotions, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive product strategies, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning to maximize market potential and achieve organizational objectives.
- Manage the entire product life cycle to ensure alignment with market needs and company goals.
- Determine pricing strategies and implement promotional activities to drive product uptake and profitability in coordination with finance and marketing units.
- Monitor the performance of assigned products and services by analyzing key metrics and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with clinical departments, finance, business development, digital marketing, communications, and hospital operations to ensure successful execution of product strategies and initiatives.
- Integrate quality management principles into product management processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee financial aspects of product management, including budgeting, expense monitoring, and forecasting to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Facilitate physician engagement initiatives to strengthen collaboration, encourage alignment, and gather feedback for continuous product improvement and innovation.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Post-graduate degree in related field is a plus
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management or related roles
- Experience in hospital or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of healthcare market dynamics and regulatory environment
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
- Experience managing physician relationships
