    Administrative Functions

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities
    • Comply with Parent Firm, and Company administrative processes, policies, and procedures. BPS Lodgement Specialist JD v2022 | 3 2. Participate in suggesting improvements in the Parent Firm, and Company's processes, policies, and procedures. 3. Complete and submit accurate time reports in a timely manner. 4. Complete and submit monitoring and surveys in a timely manner. 5. Always ensure confidentiality of engagement. Staff should not disclose or make use of any information that he/she may acquire during the course of the engagement other than to properly perform his/her work in connection therewith.

    Engagement Management

    • Understand payroll, tax, and related laws sufficiently to perform the job. 2. Understand fully government agencies' policies, circulars, memorandums, and updates. 3. Understand employee and government benefits and ensure payment of remittances to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC), and Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF). 4. Execute the procedures in the work program assigned to him/her by the Senior Lodgement Specialist and/or Payroll Manager. Maintain, improve and update the monitoring for Lodgement Services. 5. Update superiors of work progress; give feedback on work performed, difficulties encountered, and issues identified. Log and report all issues encountered. 6. Upon instruction/approval by the Payroll Manager, communicate with the client with regards to instructions, issues, etc. 7. Ensure that the client or Engagement team conforms to government mandatory requirements depending on the type of lodgement service (e.g. company and employee registration, benefits application, payment of remittances, etc.). 8. Make effective use of job-related tools (e.g. Corona/Dorado, Nexus, Office 365, etc.)

    Professional Development

    • Attend on-the-job trainings or internal/external seminars for professional development. 2. Request from the Senior Lodgement Specialist and/or Payroll Manager Performance Appraisal Reports (PARs) for each engagement. 3. Comply in all required examinations initiated by the Division (Probationary Exam, Diagnostic Exam, etc.). 4. Participate in all internal audits of the Division (AS, ISAE, IQCR, etc.) as well as on external audits only when part of the engagement. 5. Accomplish Individual Development Plan and discuss it with the assigned coach. 6. Reach out to mentor and attend mentoring and coaching activities.

    Relationship Management

    • Promote the image of the Parent Firm, and Company as a provider of high-quality services through good customer relations and responsiveness to clients' needs, concerns, and requests. 2. Work harmoniously and effectively with other members of the team. 3. Actively participate in official Parent Firm, and Company activities such as quarterly socials, and outings. 4. Always maintain a 'can-do' and positive attitude in accepting assignments and working with any other personnel

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is needed
    • Interpersonal skills and positive work attitude
    • Well-developed communication (oral and written) skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent
