Qualifications:
- Bar Passer
- At least 3 years of post qualification legal experience (gained in a reputable law firm or in house legal environment) with labor, litigation, commercial and data privacy background
- Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Experience in legal research, and crafting various pleading and related forms
- Ability to work in fast-paced and high-intensity environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to General Counsel/Head of Legal Department, the successful candidate will be performing the following functions:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other related agreements with clients, vendors, suppliers, and other key partners.
- Develop contract templates and other relevant agreements and forms.
- Undertakes in-research and draft and review various pleadings and legal opinions and advisories.
- Represents the business in administrative, labor and litigation proceedings and provide them the necessary internal legal support.
- Collaborate with and provide guidance and counsel to other departments in investigating, addressing and resolving various risk and compliance issues of the businesses
- Monitor, supervise and oversee externally and internally handled cases and concerns.
- Provide general corporate housekeeping services to the businesses.
