    Role Purpose

    We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced lawyer to support Oxagon's Chief Legal Officer with the provision of legal advice and support to each of Oxagon's business units. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, flexibility and relationship management will be critical for the successful candidate.

    Key Accountabilities & Activities

    Legal Affairs

    • Assist and support the Oxagon CLO in delivering accurate and timely legal advice to Oxagon's business units, management team and board
    • Support Oxagon by taking the lead on corporate, finance, commercial, real estate and other transactions, including hotel development and management arrangements, as required
    • Draft, review and negotiate contractual documentation with all relevant stakeholders (both internal and third party), demonstrating familiarity with market standards
    • Manage corporate documentation (e.g., company licenses, trademarks, constitutional and governance documents)
    • Assist the Oxagon CLO with any legal proceedings (including mediation, adjudication, litigation, arbitration, hearings, and audit) to resolve disputes
    • Collaborate with external counsel as necessary to ensure Oxagon's legal needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
    • Co-ordinate and monitor the work of other stakeholders (both internal and external) to facilitate achievement of objectives
    • Build relationships with the business to become a trusted advisor to leadership
    • Interface with NEOM Authority on establishment laws and regulations
    • Provide other legal services and advice to Oxagon and the NEOM group, as required

    Background, Skills & Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Experience in corporate, finance, commercial and/ or real estate transactions
    • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with strong commercial acumen
    • Exceptional written, verbal communication and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to influence and collaborate with members of the legal team and business partners
    • Ability to be innovative, e.g. in developing commercial solutions for business needs
    • Strong analytical skills, solutions-oriented and with a practical approach
    • Self-directed with solid initiative, organisational skills, and ability to work well under pressure
    • Flexibility, creativity and ability to adapt to changing needs

    Qualifications

    • Excellent academic credentials with a law degree from a leading university and law school
    • Admitted to practice law in KSA or a common law jurisdiction
    • Minimum of 10 years PQE with a top international or KSA law firm or relevant in-house experience
    • Willingness to be based in the NEOM community
    • Familiarity with GCC laws, customs, and practices a plus
    • Saudi national a plus
    • Arabic fluency a plus
