    The Role

    We are seeking a Communications Lead to own and drive communications strategy for Arden — both for the firm itself and for client-critical advocacy work. This is not a traditional PR or marketing role. It is a strategic function, executed through clear thinking, strong writing, and sound judgment. You will work closely with the CEO and senior advisors, shaping how Arden and its clients engage regulators, policymakers, media, and international stakeholders — often on issues where precision and framing matter deeply.

    What You'll Do

    Firm Communications & Positioning

    • Shape Arden's external narrative, voice, and positioning
    • Guide thought leadership and external messaging with an emphasis on credibility, rigor, and influence
    • Ensure consistency and discipline across written materials and public-facing communications

    Client Advocacy & Strategic Messaging

    • Lead communications strategy for high-stakes client matters involving regulation, policy, and market access
    • Translate complex legal, regulatory, and market analysis into clear, persuasive narratives
    • Advise internal teams and clients on framing, messaging risks, and stakeholder impact

    Writing as Strategy

    • Personally draft and refine key communications, including:
    • Strategic briefs and messaging frameworks
    • Op-eds, speeches, talking points, and submissions
    • Act as a high-bar editor across the firm, setting standards for clarity, tone, and structure
    • Treat writing as a core analytical tool, not a cosmetic layer

    External Engagement

    • Interface directly with clients, regulators, policymakers, and media partners
    • Represent Arden with discretion, confidence, and sound judgment in sensitive contexts

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated excellence in communication, with writing as a clear and proven strength
    • Experience in complex or regulated environments (e.g. journalism, policy, public affairs, consulting, law-adjacent roles, or similar)
    • International exposure and perspective, with the ability to frame Philippine-specific issues for global audiences
    • Strong analytical instincts and narrative judgment — able to simplify complexity without distortion
    • High discretion, maturity, and comfort working on sensitive matters
    • Ability to operate independently, take ownership, and build structure where none exists
    • Strong collaboration skills, especially with legal, regulatory, and strategy professionals
