Job Summary
The Sales and Business Development Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role focuses on expanding the company's market presence, identifying potential clients, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct sales presentations, meetings, and product/service demonstrations
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts
- Negotiate terms and close sales deals to achieve individual and team targets
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth delivery of products/services
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years' experience in the related field
- Must have corporate orientation (B2B experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
- Must be willing to do field work as necessary
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Critical thinking skills, analytical, and organized
- Skills of persuasion
