- Define, lead, facilitate, implement, and proactive management of the enterprise master schedule and frameworks ensuring completeness, predictability, and transparency to support executive decision making and the achievement of organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement an effective scheduling frameworks, processes, and standards to ensure manageable, consistent, and predictable project planning, monitoring, and reporting considering all phases of works across the organization.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Heads to develop, maintain, and analyze the Master Strategy and Portfolio schedules, including critical interdependencies, to support strategic decision making regarding the overall strategy.
- Oversee the strategy and portfolio supply and demand management, supporting prioritization and implementation decisions.
- Manage and facilitate demand capacity constraints, and risks that may impact the project timeline and propose mitigation resolutions.
- Conduct critical path analysis to identify key project milestones and potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure resource availability, utilization, and productivity align with project requirements to optimize project performance.
- Provide recommendations for opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce duration, and optimize resource allocation.
- Coordinate with other managers to align schedules and resolve conflicts.
- Evaluate alternative scheduling scenarios and propose recommendations to enhance project delivery.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio, program and project schedule logic and status ensuring scope changes and slippages are reflected into schedules.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential schedule disruptions.
- Produce regular reports/dashboards on portfolio schedule performance.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to project teams and stakeholders.
- Engage, coach, advise and resolve issues across a wide range of stakeholders and program/project managers at all levels of the Business Unit to ensure the effective development and maintenance of schedules.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices related to scheduling.
- Apply industryâstandard scheduling techniques, such as Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM), to create an effective and realistic project schedule.
- Identify lessons learned from previous projects and incorporate them into the scheduling process to improve future project planning and execution.
- Establish and enforce schedule management standards, processes, and guidelines across the project team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in scheduling practices.
- Support Knowledge Transfer & Professional Development programs.
- Enforce safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
- Bachelorâs Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management,
- Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scheduling Professional Certification (e.g. PMIâSP, ISO 9001) is desirable.
- 10+ years of progressive work experience administering project scheduling methodologies and tools for major capital projects.
- Work experience on large scale EPC delivery or Construction projects.
- Advance proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Tilos, or similar scheduling software.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) software applications. Working knowledge of Power BI or similar.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and standards.
- Strong understanding of critical path analysis and schedule optimization techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problemâsolving skills, with the ability to identify schedule risk and time impact analyses and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ability to articulate complex scheduling concepts in a clear and concise manner to project teams and stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative environment for effective project planning.
- Selfâstarter attitude with a proactive, resultsâoriented focus.
- Exceptional attention to detail in developing and maintaining accurate and reliable project schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossâfunctional teams and stakeholders.
