Key Responsibilities
Flock Management
- Supervise daily care and management of parent stock breeder birds
- Monitor feed intake, body weight, egg production, fertility, and hatchability
- Ensure proper male-to-female ratios and mating performance
- Implement lighting and feeding programs according to breed standards
Production Monitoring
- Track daily egg production and quality
- Record and analyze performance data (mortality, fertility, hatch rates)
- Report performance trends to Farm Manager
- Identify and correct production issues promptly
Biosecurity & Health Management
- Enforce strict biosecurity protocols
- Coordinate vaccination programs and medication schedules
- Monitor flock health and report disease signs immediately
- Work closely with veterinarians and hatchery teams
Team Supervision
- Lead, train, and supervise farm workers
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
- Ensure staff follow SOPs and safety standards
- Conduct team briefings and performance evaluations
Facility & Equipment Oversight
- Ensure proper maintenance of feeders, drinkers, ventilation systems, and lighting
- Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow)
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technical teams
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate production and health records
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare and government regulations
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in poultry breeder operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of breeder production standards and biosecurity practices
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, farm management software)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php15, Php19,000.00 per month
