    Job Title: Fixed Income Securities/Asset Services Settlement Manager

    Location: Manila

    Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

    Work Hours: 3PM - 12AM / 4PM - 1AM (DST)

    Overview

    The candidate will manage trade life cycle activities for Fixed Income Securities, handle key client queries, oversee back office settlement operations, ensure compliance with TAT/SLA standards.. They will liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth settlements and timely resolution of issues.

    Your key responsibilities

    • Responsibility for the Back Office operations for Settlement under Fixed Income product.
    • Ensure compliance to TAT/SLA's and proactively works towards maintenance of the same
    • Liaising with Domestic Agents, Middle offices, Traders, Counterparties, Frankfurt, London and other internal counterparts via mail and phone to ensure smooth settlements.
    • Understands and effectively manages risks through timely and accurate escalation and resolution of key issues.
    • Managing client/SA/MO/TA escalations and mitigating the process risks
    • Responsible for responding to ad-hoc issues or client queries on a timely basis, ensuring all communications have been responded to before end of day.
    • Ensure process documentation is relevant and updated regularly for your process to audit standards.
    • Actively supports transformation and/or optimization initiatives to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of process.
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of services to clients

    Your Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration or any related course
    • Proven experience in Back Office operations for Settlement under Fixed Income/Equity product gained from the Banking or Financial Services industry
    • Hands on Experience in Trade settlements and should have managed Trade operations in the past, preferably for European markets.
    • Strong knowledge of end-to-end life cycle of Trades and good understanding of Equities product and Business and European market nuances
    • Ability to work in partnership with various support team, counterparties (Domestic Agents, Middle offices, Traders, Counterparties) and key stakeholders via mail and phone to ensure smooth settlements
    • Understands and effectively manages risks through timely and accurate escalation and resolution of key issues.
    • Very good verbal and written articulation/communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, flexible to work in shifts and take additional responsibility when needed to login/logout as per business requirements.
    • Good analytical skills and trouble shooting skills
    • Ability to lead projects
