    A Little About Us

    Höegh Autoliners is a global player in Ro/Ro deep sea transportation services and operates the greenest fleet in this segment. The company owns and operates approx. 40 Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs) in global trade systems, making around 3 000 port calls yearly. Managed from a worldwide network of around 16 offices, our main customers are major manufacturers of new cars, heavy machinery and other rolling stock. We are working towards a goal of zero emissions by 2040 and have an exciting roadmap to achieve this.

    Job Description

    We are looking for a IT Salesforce Developer (Associate Level) with around 2–3 years of Salesforce experience to contribute to building and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions. This role bridges the gap between Junior Admin-level and full Developer responsibilities — ideal for candidates ready to advance into more technical work under structured guidance.

    You will work with the Salesforce Team, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers to deliver enhancements, custom features, and integrations aligned with business needs and platform best practices.

    Core Responsibilities

    Salesforce Customization & Development

    • Build and maintain configurations such as Custom Objects, Workflows, Validation Rules, and Flows.
    • Develop and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, and triggers under supervision.
    • Assist in integrating Salesforce with internal or external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP).
    • Participate in code reviews and follow defined development standards.

    System Support & Maintenance

    • Handle L2-level Salesforce issues and minor enhancements.
    • Execute data import/export and validation tasks using DataLoader or Workbench.
    • Support deployment activities across Sandbox and Production environments.

    Collaboration & Agile Participation

    • Work closely with Salesforce Admins, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers in sprints.
    • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and backlog refinements.
    • Contribute to documentation of technical tasks and system changes.

    Continuous Learning

    • Stay updated with new Salesforce features and releases.
    • Pursue Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I).

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform development or configuration.
    • Practical experience in Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Flows.
    • Understanding of Salesforce Administration, data model, and security concepts.
    • Experience using DataLoader and Salesforce setup tools.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Salesforce Platform App Builder or Platform Developer I Certification.
    • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Salesforce DX, GitHub, or Gearset).
    • Exposure to integration techniques using REST APIs.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
