    Job Summary

    The Accounting Associate is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, including reimbursements, cash flow monitoring, cheque preparation, and general accounting support. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Reimbursements & Disbursements

    • Review, validate, and process employee reimbursement requests.
    • Ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documents.
    • Prepare and monitor disbursement schedules.

    2. Cash Flow Monitoring

    • Assist in monitoring daily cash balances.
    • Track inflows and outflows to support proper cash management.
    • Prepare simple cash flow reports for management review.

    3. Cheque Preparation & Payment Processing

    • Prepare cheques and payment vouchers.
    • Ensure proper documentation and approval before releasing payments.
    • Coordinate with banks when necessary.

    4. General Accounting

    • Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
    • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable monitoring.
    • Maintain organized and updated financial records.
    • Support month-end closing activities.
    • Assist in preparation of financial reports as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related course.
    • With at least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
    • Familiar with accounting software and financial tools.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic reports, data organization).
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
    • Can start ASAP.
    • Willing to work onsite in Makati.
