    The Quality Assurance Auditor compiles objective evidence through continuous audit and surveillance of the different facets of PAL and PALEX maintenance, engineering and operations disciplines to determine whether business is being conducted in accordance with established company policies, procedures, Aviation Authority requirements and best industry practices.

    Who Are We Looking For

    • Graduate of any BS Engineering Course (e.g. Aeronautical, Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics and Communications Engineering, etc.) with minimum two years aviation experience (aircraft maintenance/engineering). Or,
    • Graduate of a two-year aircraft maintenance course with at least four years aviation experience in the fields of aircraft maintenance /engineering.
    • Having experience performing audits involved in maintenance and engineering will be an advantage.
    • Must have exposure to how Quality system works and has knowledge on regulations.
    • Must have a valid CAAP license (AMT or AMS).
    • Highly analytical, data-driven, systematic thinker, and problem-solver.
    • Ability to synthesize and communicate insights with different levels in the organization.

    Major Responsibility Areas

    • Conducting quality audits and surveillances on the maintenance provider and sub-contractor doing maintenance and inspection of PAL and PALEX aircraft, engines, components and appliances.
    • Performs audit and surveillances on the handling of tools, test equipment, facilities, aircraft manuals and qualifications of maintenance personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards established by the GMM and other applicable PAL and PALEX manuals and Aviation Authority requirements.
    • Performing periodic audit/inspections and surveillances of PAL and PALEX domestic and contracted international refueling stations and Into-Plane operators to ensure the quality of fuel conforms to the company requirements and industry standards.
    • Performing periodic audit/inspections and surveillances of PAL and PALEX de-icing/anti-icing contractors to ensure the conformance to the company requirements, Aviation Authority regulations and industry standards.
    • To assist auditees in the performance of root cause analysis.
    • May act as Lead Auditor when identified as subject matter expert in a specific audit as determined by the Manager-QAM.
    • To comply with applicable regulations and standards of PAL; actively involves with Safety Management System by reporting all accidents, incidents and any hazard in the workplace; and being safety conscious by exercising duty of care in the performance of duties.
    • Adopts, helps implement and continuously improves PAL's Security Management System (SeMS) thru the delivery of high-level performance to meet Company security standards and ensure compliance to national and international regulations.
