    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sets up new users and relocates existing users with telephone extensions, calling features, voice mail, and any custom features.
    • Troubleshoots entire telecommunications systems to determine if problems are hardware, software, cabling, data network, voice network, or PSTN provider
    • Test and evaluates hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
    • Specifies cable types and requirements, designs cable plant to include; diagrams, cable records.
    • Identifies and replaces malfunctioning or inoperative equipment, such as circuit cards or processing units, and performs repairs and preventative maintenance.
    • Provides Tier II or Tier III support for all technical staff.
    • Sets instructions in preparing and deploying any of the telecommunications systems.
    • Escalate major hardware and software problems to management, or will contact vendor service personnel for corrective action.
    • Performs preventative and routine maintenance.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Essential Qualifications/Trainings:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science.
    • 3-5 years of telecommunications experience
    • Has a good working knowledge of data communications services (VOIP, MPLS, COS,) and equipment (Routers, LAN Switches, VLAN, CLAN, ETC.)
    • Has a working experience with Ring Central and Nice InContact platforms.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Availability to work remotely, night shifts following EST/CST.
