Job SummaryOur client, an established global bank is looking for an enthusiastic Data Engineer to join the team.

Mandatory Skill(s)

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field;
At least 5 years of working experience in data engineering;
Proficient with SQL skills;
Proficient with Linux (Bash) scripting;
Proven technical experience in Oracle RDBMS, tables, views, indexing, tuning and data types;
Understand data processing techniques;
Proficient with data modelling in relational databases;
Has experience in developing test cases and executing automation tests;
Has knowledge in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Ansible;
Has knowledge in issue trackers such as ServiceNow or Azure Boards;
Has experience working under Agile / Scrum methodologies;
Self motivated with enthusiasm to learn new skillsets;
Independent, yet a good team player;
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

Prior experience working in lending business domain.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and perform technical feasibility studies;
Develop integrations using SQL on RDBMS;
Perform advanced SQL queries to support data integration;
Assist in developing testing automation strategies;
Involve in unit test and system integration testing;
Utilize CI/CD pipeline to implement solutions;
Advise solutions for production issues;
Collaborate closely with other members to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
